Hello,
May you have trouble with USB when windows use an existing network drive letter and the drive not visible.
The script change drive letter for a detected USB.

Bonjour, Bruno

Pas mal du tout et bonne idée le script USB Manager

Sympas aussi le World Time j’aime bien

Cordialement

Ragus

your script uses commandline Confused

here is a udf with sample which removes the need for commandline on the drive enumeration:
Code:
;1 - unknown
;2 - removable
;3 - local
;4 - network
;5 - cd
;6 - ramdisk

"Removable Drives: "
for each $drive in driveTypes()
if $drive[1]=2
 $drive[0] ", "
endif
next

?? "done. press any key " get $

function driveTypes(optional $comp)
dim $oWMI,$oDrive,$tDrives[0]
 if not $comp
  $comp="."
 endif
 $oWMI = GetObject("winmgmts:\\" + $comp + "\root\cimv2")
 For each $oDrive in $oWMI.ExecQuery("Select * from Win32_LogicalDisk",,48)
  $tDrives[ubound($tDrives)]= $oDrive.Name, $oDrive.DriveType
  redim preserve $tDrives[ubound($tDrives)+1]
 Next
 if 0<ubound($tDrives)
  redim preserve $tDrives[ubound($tDrives)-1]
 endif
 $driveTypes=$tDrives
endfunction

Take a look at USBDLM which can lock USB devices to specific driveletters. Via a logon script you can fill the corresponding .ini file.
